Job Description

  • This is a full-time opportunity located out of our office in Mississuaga, ON.

To manage all aspects of sales within the defined account base for the specified category. Support the Regional Sales Managers and Country Manager in all aspects of growing the Skechers business in the Canadian market.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and deliver the annual sales quota as determined by the Country Manager.
  • Develop a seasonal/annual business plan (by account) that details growth objectives, category objectives, distribution objectives, and promotional plans.
  • Determine and sell the most effective merchandise mix and prepare stock to sales plans (by month) where appropriate.
  • Attend all trade shows, steering committee meetings, and buy meetings as deemed necessary by management.
  • Represent SKECHERS professionally to all accounts within your territory.
  • Work effectively with the brand managers to maximize SKECHERS distribution within your account base.
  • Develop a coverage plan that services your account base and maximizes sales/distribution.
  • Gather and report sell-thru information weekly when available.
  • Submit a monthly report detailing your territory top selling and trend insights.
  • Manage selling, open order flow plans, sales trackers, on a weekly basis.

Qualifications

  • Post Secondary Education
  • 2 years of sales experience
  • 2 years of buying experience
  • Experience with a national chain
  • Strong retail analytics needed
  • Experience with account base of both Major and Independent retailers
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting/exceeding sales and margin goals
