Key Elements of the Role
- Report to the Profit Center Head
- Coordinate with external financing partners, such as Microfinance Banks or lending institutions to secure financing for customers
- Provide financial advices and guidance to customers regarding available financing options, interest rates and payment terms
- Conduct credit checks and assess the creditworthiness of customers applying for financing
- Assist in the preparation of sales proposals and financing agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Resolve customer inquires and issues related to financing, payments and financial documentation
- Monthly preparations and updates of financing MIS reporting
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices related to retail financing and sales finance operation
- Collaborate with the MFBs and other lending institutions monthly on joint activation planning
Desired Skills & Requirements
- Minimum of BSC in Finance/Accounting/or any business-Related Field
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in a Retail and Finance institution
- Proven experience in a Sales finance role within a retail environment.
- Knowledge of retail finance principles, including financing options, interest rates and credit evaluations
- Familiarity with financial documentations such as loan agreements, lease contracts and payment schedules
- Knowledge of the Market segmentation
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations
- Excellent communication and Interpersonal Skills with ability to build rapport with customers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced sales environment
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Customer-focused mindset and ability to provide exceptional service
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₦200,000.00 - ₦350,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lagos: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Retail and Finance Sales: 5 years (Required)
