As a Finance Manager at Canon CZ&SK, you will be responsible for leading the local finance team, closely cooperating with and supporting the Regional Financial Director, and fulfilling crucial financial tasks that contribute to the financial health and business success of the company.

What will be your main tasks?
- Leadership & Development: Oversee local finance team, providing guidance and nurturing their professional growth.
- Supporting the Financial Director: Cooperate closely and provide support to the Financial Director to fulfill business & financial strategies and ensure alignment across the region.
- Close cooperation with external entities: Engage closely with auditors, financial professionals and local authorities to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Business Partnership - close cooperation with internal business units leaders: Act as a strategic partner by providing financial insights to various business projects from a feasibility and business risk perspective, enabling them to make well-informed decisions.
- Budgeting: Supporting the annual budgeting process including analysis and review of financial information and its impact on the business.
- Control & Analysis: Manage financial controls to maintain fiscal discipline. Analyze performance metrics and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Integrity & Compliance: Safeguard financial operations by upholding accounting policies and practices to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial records.
What we ask
- University degree
- Fluency in Czech and English – written and verbal
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance management in international corporation
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and local legislation
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
- Strong team management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Creative approach to problem-solving
