Temp Drug Product Materials Specialist (Assoc, Int, Sr) [Ireland]


 
In this role you will be a key member of a Drug Product Manufacturing Team (DPMT) who collaborates with various departments and manufacturing partners to ensure on-time delivery of materials and on-time production and release of parenteral medicines. This role works with minimal supervision, proactively identifies and resolves issues that could impact production schedules, and capable of identifying and implementing meaningful change.

As a Temp Drug Product Materials Specialist a typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • DPMT subject matter expert for Oracle to process CMO Quotes (Project Plans/Work Orders) and invoices, tracking the status of PO approval
  • Maintain critical data databases and ensures accuracy and integrity of the data. Generate reports necessary to manage production activities and provides input on key decisions
  • Ensure accessible history of allocations, knowledge of material consumptions, and calculates manufacturing yields in Oracle, and other designated systems
  • Track trends and monitor a wide variety of External Manufacturing data; prepare reports analyzing data and makes recommendations proactively with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate directly with with CMOs to resolve errors/questions on invoices
  • Lead and support Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and quality of processes and operations. Identify problems and takes the initiative to resolve
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Logistics in coordinating shipments and ensure on-time deliveries
  • Participate in key projects with the expectation to lead initiatives with increased importance to the EM organization
  • May travel to contractor sites (<10%)
To be considered for this opportunity you must hold a BS/BA in Science, Business or Supply Chain with 0-2 years of related experience.
