Typically, a pediatrician's responsibilities include:

Regular Check-ups and Vaccinations: Pediatricians perform routine check-ups to monitor a child's growth, development, and overall health. They also administer vaccinations to protect children against various infectious diseases.

Diagnosis and Treatment: Pediatricians diagnose and treat various illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions specific to children, such as respiratory infections, asthma, allergies, ear infections, and more.

Developmental Assessments: They assess developmental milestones, providing guidance on physical, cognitive, and emotional development, and intervene if any developmental delays or concerns are detected.

Behavioral and Psychological Support: Pediatricians address behavioral and mental health issues in children, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and other behavioral disorders.

Education and Counseling: They educate parents and guardians about child health and safety, nutrition, growth, and development, and offer counseling on various parenting and child-related issues.

Chronic Condition Management: Pediatricians may manage chronic medical conditions like diabetes, asthma, and juvenile arthritis, ensuring the child receives appropriate care and support.
