With approximately 80 million euros in planned investments for technology, automation, digitalization, and sustainability, Franke aims to produce a new generation of premium kitchen products.

Employee training and development will be a priority to uphold the site's high standards as a European competence center. These strategic investments will ensure long-term competitiveness and reinforce Franke's market leadership in stainless steel sinks across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

This global role in Franke Operations is responsible to conceptionally design a automation systems, define and specify the systems including the according interfaces, detailed engineering in collaboration with suppliers. Follow the engineering and production, incl. the installation, commissioning and finally the hand-over to the operation organizations.

Your tasks

  • Design and execute innovative production automation solutions.
  • Develop project execution plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for detailed engineering and specifications.
  • Lead system installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Drive projects on time and within budget.
  • Contribute as a key member of international cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Track record of successfully managing automation projects (robot handling, vision systems) in large organizations with international scope
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in industrial/project business environment
  • Brings along knowledge of lean manufacturing tools.
  • Operations background with relevant automation technologies (i.e. material gipping, robots, vision systems). Good knowledge of “best-practices” in operations with a hands-on approach.
  • University degree in Engineering, or equivalent
  • Languages: English fluency (both written and oral). Other languages a plus
