Must be available during Friday , Saturday evening and Sunday morning 9am to 2pm. To provide customers with top quality products and service while contributing to a fun and enjoyable environment to work in.
Consistently produce outstanding quality coffee.
- Check customer's' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Preparation and presentation of cabinet food, ensuring cabinets are kept well stocked and tidy.
- Greet all customers in a friendly and appropriate manner.
- Escort customers to their table.
- Inform customer's of daily specials.
- Use till and EFTPOS correctly. Give correct change.
- Take orders from customers, waiting on tables and cleaning tables as required.
- Go out of your way to help the customers in order to create regular and loyal customers.
- Recognise the importance of working as a team to ensure a well-functioning café.
- Willingly assist other staff members with customer problems or requests.
- Ensure the café is kept clean and tidy up to the food safety standard by keeping clean at all times.
- Assist in the kitchen when required to do dishes, food prep etc.
- At the end of your shift ensure the café is left tidy and restocked for the next person i.e. clean milk jugs, back flush machine, grab anything you need from the back they might need such as milk, take away cups/lids etc.
- Ensure the coffee station, service areas and bar are well stocked and tidy i.e. milk, choc sauce, napkins, cups etc.
