Recruitment Specialist - Wind Eneregy [Poland]


 

Role: Recruitment Specialist (Permanent, Full Time)

Reports to: USA & EU Resourcing Team

Location: Szczecin, Poland
Work Day: Office based, Monday - Friday

Salary: Competitive and negotiable


What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing, owning and delivering the contractor resourcing strategy, across all segments to meet the forecast business demand for the wind energy division within GEV Group.
  • Frequent communication with the USA Resourcing team to understand the project requirements for USA Projects and focus on recruiting European technicians for servicing, maintenance and blade works.
  • Responsible for the management of the manning projects, ensuring all employed/3rd party contractors are mobilised in a timely manner and that the talent pool is utilised effectively.
  • Driving a great candidate interface, hiring process and stakeholder experience so the business can successfully hire the forecast external talent both for current and future needs.
  • Manage the resourcing outcomes, drive continuous improvement and innovation in the function and partnering with others, support the project delivery milestones from a contractor resourcing perspective.
  • Required to observe Group policies covering quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE)aspects taking a proactive approach to these areas and helping the Group to achieve its key performance indicators and goals across QHSE topics.


What you'll need to succeed:

  • Previous experience recruiting for projects within the wind industry
  • Experience of working with operational departments
  • Experience of workforce planning and allocating the right resource at the right time
  • A good understanding of diverse attraction methods which could be utilised in different geographical locations to attract the right applicants
  • Track record of resource planning and implementing recruitment strategies and campaigns in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Self-starter, flexible and adaptable to constant change with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results driven, high-demand environments
  • A good all-round communicator, strong influencing and negotiation skills with ability to take ownership of the offer process
  • A good level of resilience, we are dealing with people and sometimes not everything goes to plan, you’ll always have a Plan B
  • Strong IT and social sourcing media skills and be highly adept at deploying strategies to source candidates through a variety of direct and indirect methods
  • Language capability in another European language (other than English) or German and/or Polish preferable, but not essential.
