A cannabis weblog is looking for a junior editor and contributor to help us maintain a steady stream of quality posts. You would manage a small editorial budget, use AI and human contributors, and write custom content to ensure that we can maintain at least 7 posts per week pace. The pieces would be a mix of our ideas, your ideas, online research, and whatever we come up with in between.
We're looking for candidates with some understanding of and appreciation for cannabis. Also someone organized and independent. Hopefully you're comfortable with basic weblog tasks like adding links between posts. We'd be asking you to work in Slack, AirTable and our custom content management system. You would be working with our company leadership to fill the editorial calendar, and with our design director to ensure each article has a unique visual complement.
We believe this is a 15-20 hour a week task. We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area; you can be located anywhere and work remotely. We hope for your sake you live where you have access to good weed.
