As a Midmarket System Engineer at Aruba you act as a technical go-to individual and enable portfolio knowledge and execution cross our midmarket in close collaboration with our partners. This job is a step-in role to grow into a full System Engineer at a leading IT Vendor. Your ability to combine technical know-how and market intelligence grants you a position as an ambassador and growing into a technical expert. You will be the driving force behind the overall portfolio in all dimensions within your assigned customer territory.

As a Midmarket System Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

Client/customer relationship:

• Maintain and contribute to technical knowledge with midmarket customers and partners
• Represents Aruba as a technical go to individual in customer and partner meetings, forums or other events
• Drives opportunities with effective consultative techniques
• Builds customer loyalty through becoming a trusted advisor over time
• Partners effectively with peers and mentors to ensure customer and partner satisfaction
• This role will require business travels in Sweden (around 2-3 days/week)

Solution Planning and Design:

• Develop a good understanding of the overall Aruba portfolio
• Acquire Aruba professional certifications during the first 12 months
• Adapt proposal and design to customer requirements
• Establishes the validity of a solution and its components
• Learn and develop skills on how to demonstrate

Team collaboration:

• You are a team player who actively supports colleagues and understand that successful partnerships generate better outcomes, both personal and for the team.
• Actively participate in education programs to grow knowledge.

If you are…

• Fluent in Swedish and English which are the 2 working languages

• Holding an Engineering or University degree or initial experience in designing and supporting network / security platform deployments

• Ideally having an Engineering University degree OR 12 months experience in a Presales role OR experience within a networks operations center

• Like to meet new people and create long lasting relationships

• Preferably having knowledge on the Aruba portfolio or similar
