Position : Senior Explosive Coordinator
Location : Jabal Sayid, Medina Province, Saudi Arabia
Responsible for :
Accountabilities and Expected Outcomes
The purpose of this role is to manage the operational planning and supervision necessary to ensure quality and safety for the timely completion of: Small to medium explosives related, ensure all quantity and delivery on time, make sure we follow bylaw of Explosive.
This role has a Collateral working relationship with the following –
The Mine Manager, Underground Mining Team, Human Resources, Training & Development, Underground Mining Contractor, Onsite Explosives Police, Explosives Supplier and Other external contractors.

- Within areas of responsibility, ensure customers are aware of and comply with:
- Compliance with all applicable MBCC policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities
- Safety:
- Ensure that work is conducted in a safe manner.
- Participate in the ongoing improvement of operation’s EH&S plan and visibly and constantly support and influence its implementation and acceptance by our employees.
- Ensure prompt reporting of all injuries, illness, and safety incidents.
- Coach/mentor subordinates in the safe facilitation of their tasks
- Administration:
- Monitor explosive stock.
- Ensure all explosive order delivered on.
- Ensure all bunkers in the magazine are clean and organized as stander.
- Ensure that all information on the system is updated.
- Develop and implement long-term strategies.
- Utilizes the company Performance Management process to train, develop and maintain a highly skilled team.
- Communicate our vision, goals and objectives.
- Technical:
- Ensure that effective systems are in place to provide sound and timely data.
- Develop close working relationships with all customers.
- Ensure that the contractor receives the required technical support and documentation for them to undertake the work required.
- Engender a strong working relationship between the technical and support team in MBCC and the contractor.
- Visit work areas to ensure safety and quality standards are being met.
- Ensure contractor work is completed to contractual quality assurance quality control standards.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Education
- High School Certificate
- Proficiency in the use and application of the following software: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- English speaking.
- Preferably have explosive license.
Experience
- 3 years working with explosive.
- Preferably have explosive license.
